Government employees are being forced to use gender neutral terms in their interactions with the public. Obvious and natural designations such as "Mother" and "Father" are being effectively eliminated in favour of "Parent 1" and "Parent 2".
Canada's government explains that this is necessary to avoid bias and not offend persons who do not identify as either.
Canada's opposition government have mocked the move. Other employees have expressed the move is backfiring and creating increased confusion and stress elevating subjective "gender identity" above biological sex.
