Fights between shareholders can erupt when there is a divergence of vision or energy applied to the company’s growth.

We recently successfully settled a shareholder dispute between members of a company that had attracted substantial investment in the company’s developing intellectual property.
At stake where million dollar shares that the company sought to appropriate from our client for zero value using bullying and scare tactics.
Our client wasn’t having a bar of that and instructed us to commenced proceedings in court for an injunction and for declarations as to the ownership of those shares.
In the result the action was successfully settled with a substantial payout to our client.
